About Us >> Background and Our Current Status Fuence was established on the business concept of providing the first-class technology that support new Drug Discovery & Development. The core technologies of our company are based on our long-term collaboration with New York University, the Riken Institute, the Tokyo Institute of Technology and others, on the analytical and applicable technology of protein functions. Through joint-research with the RIKEN Institute, Fuence has developed research equipment that is based on new principle(s), and it works for their potential applications. We were authorized to become members of the RIKEN Venture Companies on November 28, 2002. The essential core technologies of Fuence include the Electrospray Deposition method (ESD),the Mechanochemical (MC) method, and the Microfluidic chip fabrication technique. All the relevant patent rights have already been either applied for or approved. Based on Fuence's own technologies, we have developed related product lines and these have been successfully launched on to the market. In order to use our technologies, we offer business co-operation plans and joint-development opportunities. These integrate our technologies and products (equipment, biochips etc.), as well as our unique screening programs.
